The chamber's activities

  • Establishing and managing internal and external exhibitions in coordination with the General Union of Chambers.
  • Sponsoring and supporting small and major economic forums.
  • Addressing and inviting the Chamber's businessmen to attend local and abroad economic events.
  • Holding economic seminars and forums between Libyan and foreign businessmen, in coordination with the General Union of Chambers.
  • Issuing certificates related to commercial customs followed in international trade.
  • Raising the efficiency of the Chamber's members by holding periodic workshops.
  • Presenting and submitting small and major projects to the members of the chamber and providing them with expertise and technical advice.
  • Settling commercial disputes between merchants through the Chamber's Conciliation and Arbitration Council instead of resorting to the courts of first instance and filing cases between them.
  • Issuing periodic economic bulletins and issuing a commercial guide for the chamber associates.
  • Signing and twinning agreements with the chambers abroad in coordination with the General Union of Chambers.
  • Collecting and counting Libyan exports of Libyan origin that are made through the chamber.
  • Collecting information and data, and preparing statistics and studies of interest of commerce, industry and agriculture.
